Ease. Design. Everyday Living.
The Founder’s Note
Ever since I can remember, movement has been a part of who I am. I was the kid climbing trees, doing pull-ups on garden grills, flipping into cartwheels and headstands anywhere I found space. Friends and family called me "the monkey"—and honestly, I loved it.
Back then, moving didn’t need planning. I didn’t think of it as fitness. It was just… joy.
But somewhere growing up, fitness changed. It became two extremes: all or nothing.
The ‘all’—high-intensity routines, strict schedules, and workouts that demand so much time and energy that they feel like a different life altogether. And the ‘nothing’—days, weeks, and months of stillness because the pressure to give it your "everything" makes it harder to even begin.
This culture reshaped movement into something complicated. Something heavy. We see it in routines that drain the desire to move and in equipment so bulky and uninspiring that even looking at it feels tiring. Fitness—once my playground—started to feel like an obligation.
But movement… real movement… lives somewhere else. In the space between effort and ease. Between doing and simply being.
That’s why I created Tula. To bring movement back to a place of ease, beauty, and everyday living. Tula is a reminder that movement isn’t reserved for the perfect day, the perfect body, or the perfect routine. It’s for every version of you—rushed, tired, joyful, determined, returning.
We design pieces that are beautiful to see, comforting to hold, and simple to use. We’re not here to push. We’re here to guide. To gently dissolve the all-or-nothing mindset and bring fitness back to balance.
